Finally a fuel gauge I can see!
The lens in the original fuel level sensor on our generator had become distorted to the point where I couldn’t see how much was actually in the tank. The replacement gauge fit perfectly in place of the old one.

Removed old gauge by prying out with a screwdriver.
Inserted new gauge by pressing down into tank opening.
Ran generator to ensure no leaks.

removed and replaced tank, valve, and the associated parts. Simple remove and replace. don't over tighten the fuel shutoff.
