Hello Cedric, thank you for your question. The filter is just over 3" in diameter. On our site, there is a grid behind the part that is mapped out in 1" squares for approximation of measurement. We hope this helps.

All I had to do was dismantle the Dustbuster, put the foam rubber filter in, and put the Dustbuster back together.
This is a great company. They helped me over the phone find this rather obscure part when other companies could not !
