This is a genuine OEM replacement part used on Echo backpack blowers. Over time this part can become brittle and crack allowing for air leaks. This will greatly decrease blowing/suction ability of the unit, at this point it should be replaced. This flexible tube is made out of plastic and it is sold individually.
Loosened two clamps with a screwdriver and removed the damaged flexible tube. Replaced the damaged tube with the new one, tightened the clamps and the job was complete.
1. Removed the pipe clamps from both ends of the cracked tube
2. Attached the new tube (that fit perfectly)
3. Re-installed pipe clamps using 5/16\" nut driver

Flexible hose to the blower head holes Older blower had a hard time finding parks till I. Checked here they had them.
Remove old one with lots of Duck Tape on it. Remove screws from Replace the new one. The old air filter was a really bad shape. Had the scrape all the old phone part out and replaced with new works great now.
Removed the two clamps, one at each end of tube, securing the old rubber flex tube ends to the rigid plastic tubes. Then removed old tube, installed new tube in its place, reinstalled the clamps and tightened the tubes to secure. Very easy, even a PhD could do it (if he had a screwdriver).
