I took the old blade out and replaced it along with the other parts i bought

Upper blade assembly snapped in two, retaining bolt was the root cause as it fractured causing the upper blade to loosen from the lower.

Had to disassemble all blade retaining bolts, washers and nuts, open the cam assembly gear box to remove the fractured blade. This resulted in needing to repack that box with lube grease and replace both the gear box gasket and felt blade gasket.
