Hood snapped in place with holding brackets on both sides and installed one screw to keep it from coming loose. Works fine.

1. Remove the screws retaining the tabs from the broken hood
2. Lubricate the threads with WD40 Dry Lube
3. Install the new hood and connect the vacuum hose to the adapter
4. Test to confirm the planer is no longer throwing chips everywhere :-)
