Description:

Genuine Hitachi replacement part, this item is sold individually.
The purpose of this Dust Bag is to collect the sawdust and other debris created by the tools listed below.
It is clamped to the machine by pressing on the two metal tabs at the open of the bag.
Then releasing the tabs it will clamp around housing or adaptor for the bag.

Try to turn saw on, sometimes it would start but run rough and spark

Remove the brush caps with a straight head screw driver, pull out old brushes, insert new brushes, depress spring and hold in place with end of the screw drive, at the same time put the cap on and turn. I also replaced the worn out dust bag.

1. Removed old bag by squeezing spring clamp and removing from saw.
2. Reversed above to install new bag.

2. remove and replace the brushes, and switch parts
3. Test and operate

Parts were missing from used saw

Removed old broken dust guide assembly with two screws and installed new one. Once dust guide was removed I could see how to remove the laser assembly which is going to be replaced at a later date. The wing bolts, dust bag, and vise assembly took 5 minutes to put on.

It took awhile scrolling to find the part, but once I found it, ordering was easy and I received the correct item within a few days.

I obtained a used miter saw, but with no user manual. I downloaded a manual and tried the saw. The saw blew sawdust all over the shop. Oh, there was a dust bag shown in the diagram in the user manual, duh! That would help! So I found one here, ordered it, swept up all the sawdust, and now everything's good.
