This is an authentic Weber replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with outdoor gas grills. The special igniter is used to create an electric charge that is sent to an electrode that makes an electric arc against the burner that ignites the fuel emitted by the burner. This igniter is available as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for associative parts.

Remove all wire connectors . In clip part front frame. Replace new part and reconnect wires the same way.
