Part was fine, but instructions lacking
The part was reasonably priced and seemingly well made, but instructions on how to replace the part were lacking. I realize it raises the question as to whether thats ereplacements responsibility or not, but it would have been helpful as it wasnt particularly intuitive.

Hello Bill, Thank you for your inquiry. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the teeth on the old the coupler and give it a couple of light taps with a hammer to loosen it. Then unscrew it clockwise in order to remove it. You may need a pair of channel lock pliers to hold the motor shaft to keep it from spinning. Good luck with your repair.

Hi Gideon,
Thank you for your question. When you take the coupler off, it has left hand threads and you will need to turn it clockwise to remove it. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the teeth on the old the coupler and give it a couple of light taps with a hammer to loosen it. Once you have loosened it, unscrew it. Insert the new coupler and turn it counter-clockwise to tighten it. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!

Heated up the old coupler and smacked it with a hammer. Replaced with the new one.
