Disassembled reel, soaked all metal parts in degreaser. Washed plastic in Dawn and toothbrushes, flushed with water, bearings placed in ultrasonic cleaner in solvent, metal drag washers lapped to flatten, drag disks replaced, special lubes used and all brass polished to mirror finish, lubed and assembled. Reel is fitted with hybrid cerami c bearings, magnets replaced in brake with stronger units, reel is better than new, controllable and casts farther.
