Questions & Answers for Diffuser Assembly
Replacement of diffuser 2.22. There is a short piece of soft tubing that is attached to the bottom of the difusser. Mine is torn and broken off flush to the bottom of the machine. It then allows water to migrate all over the place because it is not directed in the tray. It did not come with the difusser assembly I ordered and I do not see it listed in diagram B or A

Hello Jeffrey, Thank you for your inquiry. We show part# SP0001467 goes from the diffuser to the solenoid, and part# SP0001466 goes from the diffuser to the wand. We hope this helps you.

Leaking water from the bes870xl
There was a leak from the machine when steam knob was used, I found that the diffuser was the problem. its glued edges did not stand the steam (although there is no high pressure since there is a discharge opening on the part to the bottom tray). It appeared easy first until I found that I had to disassemble the whole steel mount from the casing on which everything is mounted on.There are 2 screws holding diffuser from the back. If they put the screws front it would probably take half hour to replace the diffuser. First of all. I did not take each part out, I only opened the screws that hold the steel mount so that I could tilt the assembly and reach the screws at the back. For that I had to remove front gauge cluster and steam knob (and loosen the steam wand-otherwise it blocks the mount by touching it from the side). Steam knob has a push release mechanism after releasing the knob by pushing slowly with a screwdriver you can remove the wand from its place and have a space to remove the assembly. Also the plastic fixing straps on the machine inner tubing is reusable don't cut them, just push them backwards slowly from each side at a time, and when you're done push them back to their place from left and right.
