Ordered the part when it arrived I saw what I needed to do. Went up in the attic cleared all insulation from around fan removed hose popped off old part no tools needed installed new part and put everything back. Tada it\'s done!! Works very good now,

The duct connector was missing from the new fan that I was installing in our bathroom. The receipt and box were already disposed of, so it was not possible to return it for a complete unit

I removed the old fan from up in the attic and mounted the new one--things had changed, so I can to install a 2 X 4 mounting strip to screw the unit into the ceiling joist. The electrical connections were straight-forward, but the ducting was a problem. The existing ducting to the outside vent was a 3\" system, and the duct that ereplac ements had for my unit was designed for a 4\" system. I was able to get a reducing fitting from HD that made the transition easy. The job would have gone much faster if I hadn\'t had to fit myself around the roof trusses and lie on top of the pink fibreglass. Finished job works great! A dust mask, even the disposable ones, is a must!
