Easy repair, works much better then OEM part.
I have a Poulan Pro PP4218AVX chain saw. It comes with a clutch cover with a worthless " Toolless" Chain adjuster system. I recommend that you throw that in the trash , and convert to this.
All you need is this clutch cover and two 8mm x 1.5 flange nuts and you are back to the way all the GOOD chain saws do it.
Use a screwdriver and a 13mm socket, ( 1/2 inch actually fits better.) to make adjustments.
P.S. It says it dosn't come with a chain tension screw, but it does.

Have Poulan Pro PP4218AVX chain saw. Took off old clutch cover with "tool less" bar adjustment, and threw it in the trash where it should be.
Then I put on the new clutch cover, using two 8mm x 1.5 flange nuts, adjusted the chain using a screwdriver, and tightened the two flange nuts with a 13mm socket. DONE!!!!!
Works great, better then new. Why do you think the best saws don't have "tool less" bar adjusters? ( Hint ) Because it is junk.
P.S. Website says clutch cover does not come with bar adjuster, but mine did.

Cover was cracked and chain needed sharping but needed new chain,plug
