Product Description ?

This genuine OEM replacement part is designed for use with Waring blenders. The coupling is the part of a blender that transfers power from the blender's motor to the blade assembly. Over time, the teeth on blender coupling wear down until they will no longer engage the blade assembly. This coupling is made out of plastic and it is sold individually.

Although the part appears to be correct, and I received it quickly, I was unable to take the old part off. So I will be sending it to the manufacturer along with the replacement part.

The coupling on the base and pitcher were ground down

    1) simply replace the blending assembly for the pitcher. Might as well replace the jar seal at the same time
    2) Turn base over and unscrew the three screws that attach the cover. Remove cover.
    3) Insert a small screwdriver and lock the motor fan by jamming the blades. There are holes in the motor chassis that will accept the tip of the screwdriver to give you some leverage. Unscrew the impeller by turning in the direction of motor rotation. I used pliers to grip the impeller. Once started, it unscrewed by hand.
    4) Screw on the new impeller (coupling)

    5) The rubber feet are a press fit. Mine were old and cracked, so I replaced them as well
