cord kept breaking where it exited the tool
1). removed rear cover
2). removed old cord after cutting wires from connections
3). soldiered connections onto new cord
4). had to slightly modify the case cover where cord protector exited due to tool being older version without a current replacement part-(part is discontinued)
5). reassembled case cover to secure cord and close tool
