Just what I needed to determine that this more would not start.
I ordered the bar which disengages the drive so it can be started easily. The part was received rapidly and installed easily, but unfortunately there must be something wrong with either the magneto, the carburetor, or the spark plug, as the darn thing wouldn't start even though the cord was easy to pull and turn the engine Oliver.

The part fit perfect. It took less than a minute to install. All I had to do was hook up the engine control cable that went in the hole on the control arm and put ends of the bar in the holes on the handle.

Merely installed it into the original holes made for it. But since someone had installed a universal control cable which was too long, I had to drill a new hole to re-position the cable so that it would work with the control bar. Otherwise, i could have completed the installation process in less than 5 minutes.

I removed the control cable from the control bar, then removed the old bar by pressing it on from both sides. I then noted how the control cable was hooked up at both ends. I installed the new bar, then followed my notes on how to install the cable.
