1. Loosen the three thumbscrews holding the drive plate to the reel and remove the drive plate.
2. You will be looking at the side of the spool with the brakes installed. Remove the C clip holding the brake clutch to the spool and slide off the brake clutch.
3. The six pin brakes will press into the side of the spool and click
... Read more into place. The C clip does not get reinstalled.
4. Slide all the brake blocks to the center of the spool and reinstall the drive plate being careful not to pinch the brake blocks. The reassembly should not require any force, check that the brake blockGÇÖs did not shift if it doesnGÇÖt slide back together smoothly.
