Lost collet and now it is found!
After repetitively making many circular cuts my straight cutting bit became firmly attached to my collet. When extracting the bit the original collet decided to take a trip and disappeared somewhere in the shop. As the router is pretty much useless without the collet, I was extremely happy to get rapid service and the correct part. Well done, a life saver!

As many tool owners know, after a few years parts become more difficult if not impossible to obtain. Because of this I ordered new nuts and collet for my new slightly used palm router. I've only used it twice so hopefully lots of wear left but I have the collet to repair when thst time comes. I have several routers and one had a collet failure with no exact replacement available. I had to modify a replacement but now that works well. So in this recent ereplacementparts experience, just trying to stay ahead.
