It is difficult to remove the old chuck. I found penetrating liquid and sitting overnight to be helpful in getting it off.

1. Use screwdriver to remove retaining bolt inside chuck. Turn CLOCKWISE to loosen.
2. Put some penetrating fluid near where the chuck screws in and let it sit for a good while.
3. Insert short end of the allen wrench into the old chuck and tighten as much as possible.
4. Holding tool down, use a rubber mallet to strike the allen wrench to unscrew it in the counterclockwise direction. Be careful not to damage the tool here.
5. Screw on the new chuck.
6. Apply medium thread locker to the retaining bolt and screw it in COUNTERCLOCKWISE to tighten.

Remove the screw inside the chuck. It is a left hand thread.
Removed the chuck. This is a right hand thread.
Installed new chuck in reverse process.

1. Unscrew the left-hand thread Philips head screw
2. Unscrew the chuck
3. Screw in the new chuck
4. Reinstall the screw
