This is an original Ryobi replacement part manufactured for use with pole saws. The chain on the bar will loosen from normal use, this chain tension assembly is used to tighten the chain to the bar. A hex key, and screwdriver are required to install this part. The assembly includes the tensioning pin, tensioning screw, guide bar plate, and mounting screw, the assembly is sold individually.

Not an Exact Replacement
The tension adjustment screw in this assembly was a full 1/2" shorter than the original in my Ryobi P4360, making it unusable for me. Other reviewers seem to have described the same problem (in less detail.) Fortunately I was able to reuse the original part; it was the other parts in this assembly that I needed to replace.

The nut that goes on the bolt is NOT as pictured. Pictured shows a nice hefty bolt that looks like stell. I got a thinner aluminum "bolt". Product was delivered timely and works, but I would have kept shopping for an actual steel bolt (that is really what had broken and needed to be replaced).
