After reading online I decided it was smarter to buy replacement jar with blade assembly than to try to remove old blades and refit into new glass jar.
1. Unpacked parts from the box.
2. Removed original center lid from the lid base.
3. Inserted the new center lid in the lid base.
4. Put the completed lid on the glass container.
5. Placed the glass container on the blender base.
No special instructions but what is really important to me is that my blender is quite old but very workable and the manual which I kept had the part #. I contacted the maker of the blender to find the plastic part of the lid is no longer made. Tried various places with the same results, \"No Longer Made\". Finally found Replacement Parts
... Read more on line and they had the part! I am so thrilled and now I have the REPLACEMENT PARTS magnet on my refrigerator. I will check with them next time before I contact others on parts.
