The hinge on the original air filter cover was just a strip of plastic which flexed...and failed. The replacement cover has a mechanical hinge which should last the life of the mower. Super happy with the part and the rapid delivery in spite of Covid-19.

The part was in excellent condition. Arrived quicker than expected. Fit perfectly. Mower is back to New condition & running great.

A little slow shipping this product and way too early to determine it's reliability, however, it did fit well and does seem to be of good quality. This one has a flap on 2 hinges that fold up & over the top of the plastic engine case (with 2 holes) for securing it if one wishes to. I suppose this was done due to the manufacturer realizing a defect in the plastic tabs on each side that will eventually break off. You can see the foldable flap (that does have to be folded up for installation) at the top of the picture if you look closely. small screws can be installed at some point later (like when the plastic tabs on the sides break) if one wishes. Installation is a breeze!
