Shut off the gasoline supply. Removed plastic knobs and plastic shrouds.
Removed carburetor air filter. Removed gasoline line (this was hard to do, clips were easy but flange on carburetor held fast to the gas line.) Disconnected throttle wires.
Tapped carburetor lightly to free it from manifold and slid the carburetor off.
... Read more Installed one new gasket and made the second gasket because the gasket in the kit was not correct. Slid the new carburetor into place. Reconnected the throttle wires and the gas line.
Replaced the air filter and tightened the two nuts that hold it in place. Manufactured and installed a new choke control because the new carb didn\'t have the correct length choke control. Replaced the plastic shrouds and made and installed a new knob for my manufactured choke control. Turned on the gasoline supply. Started the engine per regular start instructions.
Removed all the covers around the carburetor, removed the carburetor and old gasket. Cleaned gasket area, and installed new gasket and carburetor. Put everything back together and filled with fresh gas. Started right up and runs great.
