This genuine OEM Zinc-free cap assembly is specially designed for 5-gallon Coleman water jugs/containers. It consists of a white plastic cap with a gasket and spigot attachment. The cap and gasket act as a protective barrier to prevent dirt, debris, and other contaminants from entering the jug and compromising the purity of the water. The spigot attachment is responsible for dispensing water from the container. The cap assembly should be replaced if it is damaged, no longer securely attached, or if you notice water leakages around the assembly area. Before replacing the cap assembly ensure that the water jug is empty and dry to avoid a mess and accidental injury. Gently twist the cap assembly off the jug and discard it. Clean the mounting area to remove any residue or debris. Position the new assembly over the container opening and twist it until it is securely in place. Be careful not to overtighten it as this can damage the assembly and container. Air cover not included.
