Product Description ?

This authentic replacement part is supplied by original equipment manufacturer for use on Toro walk-behind lawn mowers. The cable-brake stops the blade when the control handle is released. If the cable is broken it will cause the brake to not release even when the lever is pressed. Note, this high-quality rubber insulated component is sold individually. Refer to the owner's manual of your model for the correct application of this part. Replacing it is a simple task that should only require a screwdriver and pliers.

    The part was pretty easy fix for my broken cable. Did not realize the upper part had a tab to keep it aligned until I had broken the old part. The support bracketry had to be removed before the new unit would fit. Other then that the part fit quite well.

    Screwdriver, Pliers, Socket set, Wrench Set, Nutdriver, Knife, air hose, scraper

    Removed broken cable brake with pliers cut off old wire tie remove cable by hand install new brake- cable ( used needle nose pliers , knife, 1wire tie). Remove old oil filter , clean and replace with new. (Used flathead screwdriver, paper towel ). Remove old spark plug, replace with new ( used plug wrench)
