Question: Je95xl

1568984

Good afternoon,

May I please confirm if the je95xl juice collector is compatible with je98xl juice collector, since the part # je95xl06 is no longer available?

Thank you,
Question: Sensor Terminal

1197726

What is the function of the sensor terminal?
WJA
Hello 1197726,

The JE98XL/46 function is that of a speed sensor. It keeps the motor RPM'S at a constant speed. Say you put an apple in the juicer. It's a little harder for the machine to grind, it will sense this and keep the motor at an optimal speed.

Hope this helps,
-WJA
Question: Attaching Replacement Basket To ...

floria

Breville model#JE95XL concerning part JE98L/26
I just received the replacement basket along with the Coupling. I only needed the basket. How do I remove the coupling from the basket I received and attach the basket to the existing coupling on the machine.
Thank you
Question: JE95XL Not Running

frmdiver

Guys I see lots of people with the same problem, also have one of these paid a lot of money for it. i can't believe that no one helps from this website. I also need to know how to remove the motor so i can get to the circuit board and check safety switch and fuse. even though fuse seems ok with flash light. need to test with voltmeter. HELP!! please
Hello frmdiver,

The motor comes out through the bottom of the machine but the coupling on top needs to come off in order to pull the motor out. Breville uses red lock tight on their internal screws so it will be very hard to get them out. The coupling on top will unscrew in the same direction the the motor spins when it is running. The factory also used lock tight on that piece. So you may have to destroy the coupling in the removal process.

Good luck and thanks for contacting us.

Question: Breville Thermal Fuse Replacemen...

rnookta

Hello! I see that other people had problems with this machine no longer running. I believe that it may be the fuse and see that someone wrote that they found the fuse on the circuit board. Schematic drawings aren't specific or detailed enough. How is the circuit board removed in order to access & replace the fuse?
Question: Drive Coupling

brokerusa

How do you replace the drive coupling for the JE95XL/30?
Appreciate any help.
Question: Where Is The Fuse Located?

rodjava

I don't see the JE95XL/8A fuse on the diagram.
I would like to try replacing the fuse as a first step in repairing my juicer
I found the fuse on the circut board
Question: Removing Drive From Motor

jim

How do I remove the drive so I can remove the motor to replace the fuse?
a question that I have been asking as well. I have searched everywhere for some kind of schematic diagram of this juicer so I might be able to replace parts I have ordered. Wish someone somewhere had some kind of video or at least a few pictures showing the disassembly.
I am too lazy now to take pictures of the assembly, but I think I can describe it.
But so not to bore anyone, here is the symptom and the result of the repair attempt first.

Symptom: After one heavy use session and after the pulp container had filled up to the rim I switched the juicer off, emptied the pulp container, and wanted to continue. The motor had stopped working.

Repair Attempt: I opened the juicer, checked the electrical and electronic parts, and came to the conclusion that the motor is faulty.

Assembly: To open the four screws on the bottom, I had to make a snapper screw driver. I used a Dremel to cut a notch in a flat bit. To ring the fuse on the circuit board I had to open two screws that hold the board against the top of the juicer. I then unplugged two cables and could then pull out the board far enough to ring the fuse. The fuse was okay. I switched the juicer on with the safety switch for the lever off (which means that the motor gets power). I had 120 V on the motor wires (indicated with "to Motor" printed on the board).
