The oven worked one day. The next day, nothing would come on. What could it be?
Brenda for model number Not for sure asked on 2019-12-11
Hi Brenda, Thank you for your question. If the toaster oven is not working, the problem may be with either the control PCB or the power PCB. Inspect them for damage and burn marks and if they show any of these signs, you will need to replace them. Make sure also that the toaster oven is plugged in and if it is check the circuit breaker to see if it has tripped. If so, try it in a different outlet with no other appliances plugged into it. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Question: Replacement Of Thermal Fuse

pdk427

Does this come with directions for replacement?
WJA
Hello pdk427,

The part number, BOV650XL/97A thermal fuse assembly does not come with instructions for replacement. The most difficult part will be taking the oven apart to get to it. Once you have done that you will see that the one end with the terminal will plug in to the board and the wire will be connected to the wire like the old one. It will be self explanatory once you get in there.

-WJA
I just replaced my thermal fuse today. Here is what I did:
Remove feet from bottom of unit and mark which goes where; they are not interchangeable. Use #1 or #2 Phillips
Remove screws from back of unit - best bit is #2 Phillips head; set high torque; use slow speed
Remove 2 screws that hold thermal fuse bracket to side of unit (screws inside oven)
With needlenose pliers, uncrimp and release power supply wire/old thermal fuse wires - reuse the crimp part
Remove/replace old thermal fuse. You can plug in unit to verify new fuse is working.

To reassemble, put back plate on first and screw into place so it's aligned with screw holes.
Put screws back on cover
Screw on feet
