Questions & Answers for Breaker Circuit 125/2

Every now and then the reset breaker will pop out and I will have to reset it it seem the same breaker, why is this?
Duane for model number 5250 devilbiss generator asked on 2022-12-27
Hello Duane, thank you for your inquiry. Circuit breakers are overcurrent protective devices that will trip if you're drawing more amps than the circuit can provide. The GFCI receptacle senses electrical ?leaks? electrical current. We hope this helps.

Circuit breaker tripping too easy
The circuit breaker had failed totally. Upon removal of the cover it was noted that one of the terminals were burnt, further inspection noted that the wire insulation had melted up a good inch from the terminal. Repairing the wire by placing a new terminal to a new section of wire and connecting to the new circuit breaker. Not sure why the original terminal burnt, poor connection I guess, but it seems to have been the problem all along. The generator will now handle the welder or my well pump without issue.
