Questions & Answers

I received my blending assembly but don't know what parts go inside the glass jar and what outside the jar. I've tried to find a schematic for the order of this assembly but had no luck. Help.
Linda
Hello Linda, Thank you for the question. All of the parts above the word JAR on the diagram are placed inside of the jar and all of the parts below it are attached to the bottom of the jar. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
Can you please provide a full link to the parts diagram for 007314W? The link in the Repair Instructions below is not working. Thank you.

Does this cutter assembly # 007314W come with all the necessary washers and gaskets?
curtis for model number 34BL 87
Hello Curtis, thank you for your inquiry! All washers and gaskets are sold separately from the blending assembly. I hope this information helps!
I bought a replacement glass blender and it came with the inside assembly with blade but not the parts that connect to the engine. So I bought another part but it still didn't have the part that connected it to the blade assembly, very frustrating. I need the part that connect the round spoke piece with the blade assemble, some kind of bolt?

Adjustable Wrench, leather pot holder
Was not performing well / assembly was wobbly and chafing
The repair was simple, taking it apart (and figuring out the tools) was the hard part, and that wasn't really hard either....

Here's how I replaced the blending assembly:
I turned the glass container on its side and used a thick leather pot holder to hold the assembly from the inside and grasped the coupling at the bottom with an adjustable wrench from the outside.

After taking it apart I noticed, that someone had obviously cleaned and then put the assembly back the wrong way (washer on the outside) which had caused the chafing and had worn out the thread for the bottom hex nut.

But since I ordered the whole assembly replacing everything was was super easy.

Screaming, squeaky bearing in blending assembly
Used a socket and extensions to reach nut on top of blending assembly inside pitcher. Came apart easily with the correct nut size and simply holding the drive wheel on the bottom of the pitcher. Take care to watch the order that the gaskets and washers come off as you'll need to duplicate it upon reassembly.

blender blade assembly leaked
Had to find all tools: socket with long reach (2 of them). One to remove blade, one to remove bearing and seal. Took several trips to tool bin.

Blender bought 35 years ago. Was used to try to make dip out of cottage cheese. Too viscous, trashed bearing. Was 25th anniversary version of Waring blender.

Now works like new!
