Product Description ?

This is one of the rotor blades that is used to shovel the snow, it is secured to the rotor shaft assembly with the hardware which is sold separately. Blades absorb a lot of friction while the machine is in operation, and they are designed to wear down over time. If a snowblower isn't throwing snow as far as it used to, that means it's time to replace the blades. It is an authentic item that is supplied by original equipment manufacturer for use with Toro snowthrowers. Please note this durable metal blade is sold individually.

Good product, appears as good or better than the OEM parts.
The rebuild of this snow blower restored it's snow blowing ability. Parts fit perfectly. Although replacing these rotor blades is not as simple a job as it appears at first. All of the nuts are very difficult to get too. I ended up super gluing the nuts to a piece of dowel to be able to get and hold them in very tight places.

    Questions & Answers for Blade-rotor

Is this item made of rubber or plastic? I have replaced the blades twice and they were made of plastic! Both times I have replaced them they just break apart before I could actually use the machine! These were more like plastic than rubber! They were very hard to install!
Gerry for model number 38175 asked on 2022-11-03

The online video was great! The job was easy but took a little extra time than expected. The nuts and bolts on the rubber blade rotor were difficult to loosen and a small tool ( thin wire stripper) was used to hold the nut in place until it threaded on the bolt when reinstalling.

Used the small grinder to cut away the scraper blade till you can get a vise grip on what was left of the bolts. Installed scraper blade with new screws.

I followed the instructions that were a part of my manual. I was disappointed that I had to order additional parts. I assumed that a rotor for a snowblower would include both paddles. It turns out, there was only one of the two, and I had to re-order the second rotor blade, paying for additional shipping. Since I was making another order, I did also order the fasteners for the scraper.
