Description:

This is a genuine replacement blade which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Snapper and Simplicity lawn mowers. It is secured under the deck to cut the grass. Over time the blade may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring replacement to maintain a clean cut lawn. Dull or worn lawnmower blades can cause the grass blades to tear and fray causing a yellowish coloring to the top of the lawn. It is a high-quality component which is made of durable metal and is sold individually. Refer to the owner's manual and the diagrams of your model for the correct installation. You will need a wrench to remove the old one and secure the new one.

Needed new blade

Remove the spark plug wire. Use a thick glove to hold the blade while removing it and installing the new one. Remove the blade bolt and the washer, then the blade. Now is good time to clean underneath the mower. Now place the new blade on then the washer and tighten the blade bolt. And replace the spark plug wire.

Dull blade

Wedge in a piece of wood to prevent the blade from turning. Remove the blade bolt and washer. Remove the old blade, then install the new blade with the washer and bolt

Worn out rear tires, bent mower blade.

Removed old tires with wrench and immediately install new ones. The blade was also removed with wrench and new one installed. It was simple. Thanks.

Both belts needed replaced plus clutch handle and blade

Removed blade, disassembled drive system, removed belts, replaced and put back together.
The poly v-belt was coated with Alcohol so it would slide between handle frame and pulley. A small crow bar was used to stretch the engine dive belt so the pulley could be put back in place. All other procedures were routine.
