Question: Main Battery

deg1944

How do you change main battery?
WJA
Hello deg1944,

It looks like that you would have to separate the main housing of the unit. And once you have them apart, I would think that you could see how to remove the old battery and replace the new one. You may need to make a wiring diagram to help wire it back correctly. This is just my opinion on this. I can't guaranty that this is the way to replace the battery, as I have not done it before.

-WJA
VERY SIMPLE. PLACE UNIT FACE DOWN AND REMOVE 10 SCREWS FROM CASE EDGES. USE A SMALL SPATULA TO HELP SEPERATE CASE. DO NOT DISCONNECT ANY WIRES. SET TOP OF CASE ON FIGHT SIDE OF CASE. UNDO SIX SCREWS HOLDING WHITE BATTERY CASE. LIFT CASE ENOUGH TO DISCONNECT BATTERY CONNECTORS FROM TOP OF CASE, THEN REMOVE CASE. TAKE BATTERY OUT OF CASE AND WITH KNIFE OR SHARP SPATULA, REMOVE RUBBER PADS AND INSTALL ON NEW BATTERY WITH DOUBLE STICK TAPE. LUBE PADS WITH WD40, REINSERT BATTERY IN CASE AND REVERSE PROCESS. DONE
