Excellent part for DIY repairs
After diagnosing the lift problem with my Ridgid R45171 table saw. The problem came down to a broken plastic adjustment wheel as well as a broken tooth on the bevel gear. The parts arrived within days and they were the exact replacement parts as the original. The fit and finish of the parts were exact which made replacing them easy. I would recommend any DIY-er to try this rather than sending it out for repair. This will also give you a chance to break down your saw for a thorough cleaning and oiling. up/down blade not working, found gear teeth on each gear broken/worn

Parts Used
tilted saw on side to access parts from underneath
removed nut, used allen wrench to hold bolt and removed top retaining nut and washer.
removed screw on bevel gear, replaced gear with new gear.
removed screw on bevel gear to handle, removed snap ring, pulled handle out, pulled spring and removed broken handle.
replaced handle (it too broke where pin holds in for turning), spring and reinserted. installed new bevel gear and snap ring.
Now for the bad news, once all this was done, blade still won't go up or down and when I applied a bit extra force, the handle again stripped.
Looking to upgrade to new was with metal gears.
