Not the right part for this vise, but it will work
The part arrived properly packaged and ahead of the estimated delivery time. It looks like the USPS is upping their game.
Unfortunately, this bench vise screw and handle are not the right size for a Craftsman 51871 5-1/2 bench vise. It is a size too small for this particular vise. Im certain that the right size bolt and handle are discontinued. The square bolt shoulders feel a little loose in the slot and therefore when you loosen the handle to rotate the vise, theres a little bit more wiggle than there was with the original bolt and handle. But it will work and looks much better than the original.
