Product Description ?

This is a genuine Hoover vacuum belt. It attaches from the motor drive shaft to the brushroll agitator, spinning it when the lower nozzle is in use. This spinning allows the bristles to disturb the fibers of carpet or upholstery, loosening dirt and debris for a thorough cleaning. This flat style belt attaches to the agitator at the end with a gap in the bristles. It is sold individually. Note that the old belt will appear to be a different size due to stretching from normal use.

I need to remove the cover in order to be able to get the belt on.

Remove four screws and then removed the cover. I was then able to pull hard enough to get the drive belt on first and then the agitator.

Removed the old belts and replaced them with new belts. New belts are a little tough to put on as they have to be stretched over the wheels. Vacuum runs like new. Well worth it.
