Unplugged the saw and removed the motor cover. Removed the screw holding the small gear. This allows the belt to be maneuvered onto the small gear and large drive wheel by twisting it on very slowly. When all the way to the washer and the screw were tightened. Replaced the cover. Plugged the saw back in and tested. The key is to have the saw securely fastened to a workbench. It took 3 belts to get this done without tearing the belt.
