After receiving the manufactures updated battery replacement, I realized that the connections were not the same. I had to snip the existing plug off of the battery with the positive/neg leads. Stripped the ends back on the red and black wires. Then put insulated male and female spade connectors on. Hooked it up and it is running like a ch amp.

Just cropped the new connector and crimped on old-fashioned connectors to suit existing wiring. Other than that it works great. Thank you.

Removed wheel/tire assembly by removing C clip and placing new wheel/tire assembly on axle and securing it with C clip. New battery had a plug on its end I had to cut off and crimp appropriate terminals so it would connect to my mowers terminals.

Basically I did what the person did in one of the repair stories. I had to snip the existing plug off of the battery with the positive/neg leads. Stripped the ends back on the red and black wires. Then put insulated male and female spade connectors on. Hooked it up and it is running like a champ.
