1. Removed bail arm
2. Picked up all the little pieces that fell out
3. Freaked out at all the little pieces that fell out
4. Found reel diagram online
5. Reassembled with the new bail arm using only a screw driver, the reel diagram and patience
6. Caught a big catfish with the newly repaired reel
The s hop wanted $65 to replace this part. I bought the part for less than $2.00 from E-Replacement parts.
