This is a fairly common occurrence. I've had the tool for over twenty years and made this exact repair at least 5 times. Fortunately it is a very easy repair to make. You unscrew the handle all the way off & remove the support clamp by merely pulling it away from the drill. At that point, the clamp that the T bolt engages will spring apart slightly. That's the only thing holding the T bolt in place. Chunk it into the trash and reverse the previous steps. The whole process takes less than 2 minutes. If you have an older machine (like mine) it will be necessary to also replace the support clamp. The new T bolt is only 40mm long while the older one was 80mm long. As a temporary fix you can just cut 40mm off your old support clamp.
