This is a genuine OEM sourced armature assembly that is specially designed for Makita rotary hammers. The armature is the inner portion of an electric motor. This assembly consists of an armature, fan, and two bearings. Symptoms of a bad armature include excessive sparks or smoke coming from the sides of the tool during use. It is highly recommended to replace both carbon brushes when replacing an armature. Refer to the diagrams for your model to ensure the correct repair procedure. Note, this high-quality armature assembly is sold as an individual item.
