The plastic air filter support attaches to the carburetor and provides a structure on which to mount the air filter. The air filter support is sold individually, please note the hardware used to fasten the support is available separately.

Exactly what I needed to fix my hedge clippers
The part was easy to find on the website using the hedge trimmer model number. Because of this I was able to easily and inexpensively fix it. If not, I would have been forced to take to the repair shop and spend $65-$75 on a 10 year old trimmer. Now I’m back at it.

Air filter housing retaining clip broke (plastic)

1. Take cover to air filter off (no tools needed)
2. Used nut driver to remove 2 nuts holding base.
3 Replaced base with the new one
4. Put two nuts back on.
5. Installed air filter and filter cover
