Description:

This is an original manufacturer approved replacement air filter assembly which is specially designed for use with Campbell Hausfeld air compressors. Its purpose is to ensure the air that goes into the engine is free of dust and other harmful contaminants, over time it may get dirty and clogged eventually requiring replacement to maintain good air flow. This part consists of a durable metal housing with a pleated paper filter element.

What is the size of the threads that go into the head unit? Is this 1inch? And is this the complete assembly?

Hi Matt, Thank you for your question. This would be the complete assembly. The air filter has a 1/2 inch MPT threads. It has a diameter of 4 inches with a 1/2 inch NPT mounting threads. Broken breather air intake assembly

The threaded die cast aluminum pipe fitting connecting the air breather to the compressor head broke when the compressor tipped over. Unscrewed the broken piece of pipe from the compressor head and installed a new breather assembly. It was easy to order the correct part when the exploded schematic view was displayed. Because we had the exactly correct part the replacement took less than 2 minutes!

filter housing bolt was broke

took off old filter housing unscrew holder flange put new in and new air filter simple

threaded stud broke off air filter housing assembly,

Unscrewed broken air filter assembly and screwed new one on. Job completed in 2 minutes. Thanks for your direction.
