Unscrewed bottom part and replaced with new gasket and part.
Had to buy two pieces since you couldn\'t order just the gasket anywhere.

Blender blade and gasket were both broken after years of use. We replaced it but never felt the replacement was as good. Since we held onto the original, I was able to find the replacement parts here

I just switched out the old parts for the new. It was quick and easy and the new ones fit perfectly. Unscrewing the bottom of the blender, i was able to remove the old blade and gasket and replace them.

The rubber gasket between the glass bowl of the blender and the blade assembly had become hardened over more than 20 years and eventually split.

Put the new gasket on the bottom rim of the blender bowl, then put on the new retainer ring or \"adapter\" and screwed it on firmly. The blender now shows no leak of liquids.
