This replacement front wheel and tire assembly is specially produced for Murray lawn mowers. It is a genuine manufacturer sourced item, not an aftermarket imitation. This is the front wheel that supports and helps to move your mower around. This wheel is made out plastic with a rubber tire it is sold individually. Please note, the dust cover, hubcap and the hardware to secure this wheel are all sold separately.
To replace this wheel you would need a wrench.
• Remove the hub cap and the locknut
• Replace the old wheel with the new one
• Secure it with a nut and a hub cap

Replace front wheel that had a crushed bearing. Replace interlock cable which had broken.

When replacing the interlock cable, I disconnected the spring on the engine, attached the cable and then reattached the return spring. Easy! For being a 1999 version of a Murray/Noma (Scotts) mower, it runs out like a charm. Starts always on first or second pull.
