Question: Fuel Line
Both feul lines are cracked. Can you replace just the two plastic lines?
Question: TE475 Slow Head Spin
I've had carburettor problems with my weedeater and just about got it to run - but only with the throttle wide open...
After the latest carb reassembly, the head is no longer spinning fast enough to trim anything! It could maybe give the weeds a good tickle, but won't cut...

I don't know if you cleaned your carburetor, It sounds as if it may be clogged in one of the small orifices or dirty. We have an article and video on How to Clean a 2 Cycle Engine Carburetor. Hopefully this will get it going again. You may also want to replace the 530095656 fuel pick-up assembly(fuel filter)
I have a weedeater te475. I purchased replaacement parts for it and The diagram does not show where the fuel pick up assembly physically goes. Part #530095646. Can you help?
The part number 530095646 fuel pick up assembly (fuel filter) is installed inside the fuel tank. We have an article and video that I hope will help you with the installation of that part. Here is the link to it.

Hope this helps,
I need to replace the little rubber button which pumps fuel to trimmer. What is that called so I can know what item to order?
The part you are needing is commonly called the primer or purge bulb. The part number you can use is 530058709.
Reply: Gas Trigger
The trigger is item #13 on page B of teh parts diagrams. It is part #530058000.
I hope this helps,
Question: Hard To Start
After my TE475 does start, it will only run in full choke. If I advance it to 1/2 choke it will die.
Reply: Hard To Start
Had the same problem, finally figured out that my fuel line was breaking at the point of where it enters the fuel tank. Was getting a lean mix unless the choke was partially on.
