Trigger switch was bad
Remove 4 screws from handle
Remove and replace switch(disconnect two wires from switch, then reattach to new switch)
Plug in an electric cord, test the circuit, (checks good) then:
Screw in the 4 screws and your done.

Question: Unit Not Operable

I used my SG11 hard for parts of several days to cut grass that had not been mowed since June 23. In places it was 3 ft. tall but I didn't cut for more than 10 minutes at a time. On the 3rd day it was used for about 3 minutes of light trimming and then turned off for about 10 minutes. When I tries to turn it back on, it was dead and will not run anymore. Any suggestions?

Question: Spool Unwinding

I install the new spool and as soon as I engage the weed eater the line unwinds outside of the spool and wraps around the bottom half of the spool outside the weed eater. This all started with using inordinate amounts of the line while trying to trim the lawn. I have replaced the spool twice thinking I had a bad spool but nothing changes!

I have had my SG11 for about two years...It has always used too much line for the job I use it for but recently it started using all of a spool for one use...I changed the spool twice thinking it may just be the spool but no change..Now the spool unwinds upon initial activation and rewinds outside of the spool on the weed eater..It is of no use the way it is and I may have to go to another name brand!
