Hello dlb_bla,

I'm not sure of the size of the fuel line, but the part number is 530069247. One way that will make it a bit easier to push the line into the tank, is to cut it diagonally at the end and then push it in.

Hope this helps,

Question: Leaking Gas

My Weed Eater Trimmer won't stay running. Fuel leaks out from the carburetor. Is there a float?

There isn't a float in your carb but there are some reed valves, my guess is that they are the problem. Over time the reed valves and the diaphragm in the carburetor will get hard and brittle and eventually fail. You will need to rebuild the carburetor to get your trimmer running again. There is a carburetor rebuild kit available. It is part #530035264.

I hope this helps,

Question: Fuel Line Routing GTI 15T

JimB

The fuel lines disintegrated and I'm guessing where the lines connect to the carb from the fuel tank and the primer bulb.
Both fittings are on the same side of the carb toward the primer bulb. Which is the one for the tank?

Question: Fuel Line

My fuel line finally gave out last year. I tried replacing it with another line but it started leaking soon after I put it on. It wasn't making a good seal around the hole in the bottom of the tank.

I need that fuel line you speak of. I don't see on parts list. Where did you find it? All that I have tried are too big and will not even fit in the hole.

There are two sizes of fuel line for weedeaters. The fat one to the fuel pickup filter in the tank to the carb. The skinny one to the primer bulb from the tank. Both should be very tight fits. Cut the line to a point, insert, then push, twist or pull. I found it easier to start through the inside of the tank.

Question: Bulb Assembly

Did the Gti 15t originally come with the gas bulb for the carb?

I believe it did. I have a GTI15T and it has the primer bulb.

The early ones did not have a primer.

I have an older one without a primer. The carb has one nipple for fuel, which I believe went into the tank and attached to the fuel filter to draw fuel into the carb... but... I do not see any place for a return line to leave the carb or to return to the tank. I'm also having a hard time finding out how the switch spring attaches to the fly wheel assembly as this came loose when I removed the housing to check the pull cord.
