Discussion for the Weed Eater E125BT Type 1 Electric Edger
Hello, the motor assembly on my edger has come loose from the deck frame and is rattling around inside. However, I can see that the two screws that hold the motor in place are still threaded into the motor. I have removed the motor cover and have tried to rotate the motor so the screw heads re-engage the keyhole slots, but they need to be loosened first. How does the blade assembly come off so I can do that? Thanks for the help!
I can relate. I have a E150 BT Weed Eater Edger with the same situation. I cannot find any way to get it off. Looked for a set screw, none. Looked for a locking washer, none. Tried reverse threading to take off, didn't budge. I do not want to try a pulley puller because the fan is made of plastic. If you solved this issue please let me know.
