Question: Impeller Replacement

1214007

Can you describe the procedure to replace the impeller in the 2560 Blower?
Vincent Hoagland
Question: Switch

Vincent Hoagland

The switch on my 2560 is stuck in the low position. I can use it by plugging it into the extension cord and removing it when I am done. However, I often want the high blower rate and can't get it. Is there something I can do with the switch?

I have a model 2560 electric leaf blower. It has two speeds. Sometimes the high speed will not work. Don't know if it is a 1, 2,or 3 series. Will need to order the right switch for my model.

Question: Stopped

I was blowing and the motor stopped. I have checked the electric connection and tried a different extension cord but still nothing.

Question: Impeller Replacement

Ray

I'd like to order a new impeller, as mine has two broken blades. I took the unit apart but can not figure out how to disassemble the impeller from the motor assembly. Any suggestions?

Hi Ray,

The impeller is simply screwed onto the motor shaft. Secure the motor shaft, underneath the impeller, with a pair of pliers. Adjustable pliers work well. Now the impeller can be screwed off of the motor shaft. The new impeller is part # 530037183 and is available from http://www.ereplacementparts.com .

Good luck with your repair!

Question: How Does Bag Work

Julie Owen

I have been given a 2560 model but I do not know how to attach
the bag to make it suck up the leaves, can you explain please?

Ray

Open the intake cover using a screwdriver to release the latch. Then connect the vacuum tube in that opening. Remove the blower tube and attach the bag in that opening using the Velcro to make it fit snug.
