Question: Pull Rope Broken
I don't see the image for the engine to get the number for the pull rope for this model.. Could I get the number from someone please?
Reply: Pull Rope Broken
Troy-Bilt did not manufacture the engine for that mower. With what I have researched, it looks like you could have a Briggs and Stratton engine. You should be able to locate the manufacture and model number and type of the engine by looking on the engine for a plate or label with that information on it. I am going to guess that it might be a series number 126T00. If that's not correct, type in the information you found, at ereplacementparts.com/. You should be able to locate the parts you need.
Hope this helps,

Question: Wont Stay On
Troy-Bilt 12A-466M011 On the model I have listed, the issue seems to involve the mower filing to stay on after cranking it with the pull cord. Gasoline has been drained and replaced, filters and spark plug have been replaced. Starter fluid has been used to initiate the start of the motor which quickly starts and then quickly goes off. Machine has performed flawlessly for 2 years approximate until lent to neighbor. Neighbor gassed up the troy built briggs stratton engine and it failed to start. Any ideas anyone?
Question: Self Propell
My mower will not self propel. The belt is working no damaged or the belt is not worn, don't know what to do call the store could not help. What should I do?
Reply: Self Propell
Make sure that both the pulleys and the shafts that they are attached to are spinning. If everything looks good with the belt drive system then most likely the transmission itself has failed. The transmission is part #918-04376A and is available from http://ereplacementparts.com.
I hope this helps with your repair!
