Question: Leaking Gas
my garden tiller is leaking gas aroung float cover.i cant find parts listing for repair.diagrams dont show carbartor. what do i need? help!
Reply: Leaking Gas
Troy-Bilt did not manufacture the engine for that model. You will need to locate the manufacture of the engine. There should be a tag on the engine with that information. And then locate the correct parts diagram for that engine.
Hope that helps,
Question: Name Of Replacement Part
I have a Troy-Bilt Super Bronco. I bought this new at Lowe's in '96. Last year a part broke that I call a stabilizer. I don't know if that is the correct name but it attaches to the regulator depth leveler. It broke where the two meet and I want to replace both parts but I am not sure what they are called. I can't find my owner's manual, of course! Can you help with the name or where to get a manual?
Reply: Name Of Replacement Part
I have a super bronco that I bought in 1999 and the Model # is 12180, try looking it up and see if the parts look the same. Also there should be a decal on the transmisson frame with the Model and Serial No. on it.On mine if your standing behind the tiller the decal is on the right side.Hope this helps.
Question: Removing Rear Shaft
I have been trying to remove the rear shaft of model number 12210. I cannot remove the shims to get to the bushing. How is this done without destroying the shims and bushing? Also is there a oil seal on the shaft and if so what is the part number for a new one as the parts illustration does not show one?
Reply: Belt Routings
There is not a specific diagram for the belt routing. On page C of the parts diagram the belts are shown along with the positioning of the idlers. Hopefully this will be enough to help you install your belts properly.
Good luck with your repair!
